Volunteer Highlight: Elise Prehoda

At ANEW Place, we are able to serve our guests with our supportive programs and in a community environment because of the generosity of our community members. Our Meals Program involves over 300 volunteers each year, and those volunteers are essential to the proper function of the house. One such volunteer is Elise Prehoda. While motorcycle enthusiasts may be most widely known for their black leather, boisterous engines, and passion for the road, one thing that may get overlooked is their generosity. A Success in Progress

ANEW Leaf has sprouted!  After months of preparation, remodeling of our space, recruiting staff, and finding support for our guests, we have accepted our first participant into the ANEW Leaf program! It has been a long road and we are thrilled to continue moving forward. As a nation, we are in an affordable housing crisis.
